New release online ! [LCLCB02] Vinilette : Bliss (progressive electronica/techno)

This EP is our second "Carte Blanche", a serie that aims to focus on artists far from our usual musical line in order to share sonic discoveries.

So be warned : THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH DUB ;)

For this opus, we present Vinilette, a spanish female electronic music producer and DJ we met at the Netaudio Berlin festival in october 2009. We had the idea of this spontaneous release talking with her, and serve it to you fresh as sushi (we discover the result with you!).

Be ready for some subtle progresive electronica & techno with a slice of house !

We put ZIPs for (almost) all the releases of the catalogue, from number LCL06 to be precise.

NETAUDIO Festival report - BERLIN (8-11 oct 2009)

The Netaudio is not only a 4 days festival into a mythic place located in the berliner "No man's land", it is also a concentration of energies from around europe (and the rest of the world), with the aim of promoting an original concept of music thru the internet...and it works perfectly !
This year is quite symbolic because we celebrate novembre 1989, when the Berlin wall gave up under the asault of the population. It is so symbolic because nowadays, the most efficient walls are invisible and in our minds...

During saturday's "Netaudio fair", whe had the pleasure to present the new website of LCL for the first time. Later that night Volfoniq hit the "dub" stage along with Disrupt, Peak and Metastaz. A short video of Volfoniq's gig is available here (thanks to Simon Roy).

We noticed during these days we spent in Berlin that the people here have the indestructible will to change things. A huge thanks to the whole Netaudio Berlin team for their welcome, their positive energy and the titan work they done !

Le Netaudio n'est pas seulement un festival de 4 jours dans un lieu mythique situé dans le "no man's land" berlinois, c'est aussi un concentré d'énergies venues des 4 coins d'Europe (et du monde) dont le but est de promouvoir une certaine idée de la musique sur Internet...et ça fonctionne à merveille!
Cette année est symbolique puisqu'il s'agit avant-tout de commémorer le mois de novembre 1989 lors duquel le mur de Berlin à flanché sous les assauts de la population à l'heure où justement des barrières invisibles tendent à se généraliser à coup de lois pour filtrer Internet.

Lors du "Netaudio fair" le samedi, nous avons eu l'honneur de présenter LCL dans ses nouveaux habits et bien plus tard dans la nuit, Volfoniq a investi la scène "dub" aux côtés de Disrupt, Peak et Metastaz...Une courte vidéo du live de Volfoniq est disponible ici (Merci à Simon Roy).

On a pu noter lors de ces quelques jours passés à Berlin, la détermination sans faille des berlinois à vouloir changer d'ère et les choses. Un grand merci à toute l'équipe du festival pour son énergie et l'ampleur du travail accompli!

This is it, several major changes for LCL !
We take the occasion of the Berlin Netaudio Festival to reveal LCL new identity:

- A NEW NAME : the LCL acronyme stays, but it now stands for "LibreCommeLair" (ex "Les Cristaux Liquident"). We keep the same activities : electro dub netlabel, and cultural events organizer.

- A NEW WEBSITE : with a radical change of design, more details about the artists and the releases, an online player to browse the whole catalogue from the same interface, full dual language (english/french)... We let you visit and enjoy !

- A NEW LOGO
